My name is Emily. I live in Raleigh, North Carolina where I was born and raised. I’m a mom of four, from preschool age to middle school age (help. me.). My favorite things in life are laughing, Jimmy Fallon, FRIENDS, quoting movies, pj pants, vacuum lines, sweet tea, and burgers. I hate math. So much that I would actually put it in my “About Me”. It is that important that you know this.
My passion is people. I am fascinated by our differences, amazed by our similarities. I want anyone who reads this blog to feel like they have a place here. Much of what I write will have something to do with Jesus, because He is a part of everything I do, and I make no apologies for it. But I will never force Him on anyone. All are welcome here; come as you are. We are all in the trenches of life together- some deeper and darker than others- but trenches all the same. We could all use a lot of hope and a little bit of laughter. I hope you can find a place of rest here. A safe place, where you know just how not alone you are.
From my trench to yours,
