My name is Emily. I’ve been married since July 2006 and have four children, ages 2, 5, 8, and 10. I live in Raleigh, North Carolina where I was born and raised. My favorite things in life are laughing, Jimmy Fallon, FRIENDS, quoting movies, pj pants, vacuum lines, sweet tea, and burgers. I hate math. So much that I would actually put it in my “About Me”. It is that important that you know this.
My passion is people. I am fascinated by our differences, amazed by our similarities. I want anyone who reads this blog to feel like they have a place here. Much of what I write will have something to do with Jesus, because He is a part of everything I do, and I make no apologies for it. But I will never force Him on anyone. All are welcome here; come as you are. We are all in the trenches of life together- some deeper and darker than others- but trenches all the same. We could all use a lot of hope and a little bit of laughter. I hope you can find a place of rest here. A safe place, where you know just how not alone you are.
From my trench to yours,
